Grand Champion Awards [top]

Each year a trophy is donated in the memory of Elsie Laver, the daughter of one of Mudgeeraba’s pioneer families. The trophy is donated in recognition of her many years of charity work for our community. Each year the trophy is awarded to the competitor attaining the most points in the cookery section. This year the Mudgeeraba Show Society wish to thank George Franklin and family for their very kind donation enabling Elsie Laver’s memory to live on in Mudgeeraba.

The perpetual trophy for the Grand Champion Pavilion Exhibitor is donated each year by Lyn & Steve Boyle and their family. We wish to thank them most sincerely for their donation of encouragement for our exhibitors. Lyn and Steve have worked tirelessly over the years for our Show Society and our thanks are very sincere.

The Lola Hicks Memorial Trophy in recognition of her many years participation is presented to the Champion Exhibitor of Sections 10, 11, 12 and 14 being the Champion Hand Craft Exhibitor of the show. It will be awarded to the person who achieves the most successful results over all of the above sections. The Helen Ripper and Family Trophy is presented to the Champion Fine Arts exhibitor of sections 17, 18 and 19.
