“I have the privilege of working with some very dedicated people, many of whom have been volunteering with the show for years, and who were welcoming and happy to share their vast experience of all aspects of the show with me. And I LOVE it! There is always something new to learn and someone new to get to know! And my first show was sooooo exciting, from the lead up, to the bump in, to the two days of the show, to the wrap up. And it is so good to see so many thousands of people enjoying the show – a real community event! I am now proud to be a tiny cog in a huge wheel, providing a fabulous event for the community.
I’m having fun, keeping my mind active, using skills I have learnt over the years, and using many new skills I have learnt from others at the Show Society. I have also met the most amazing people who constantly inspire me with their energy and passion!
And I can’t wait to be a small part of the next show, and the one after that, and the one after that and the one after that…’

Volunteer With Us
Mudgeeraba Show Society Inc is a volunteer run organisation and we pride ourselves on being the caretakers of the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds and hosting the annual Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show.
Each year, dedicated volunteers give their time and commitment to be involved in our Show and our Show Society. Now, more than ever, we understand that volunteers are selecting their chosen roles based on the level of involvement and time they are asked to invest, the positions available and the level of engagement and impact they can have through their volunteering experience.
We appreciate the need for excellent volunteer recruitment, training, recognition and retention and we are continually improving this area of our organisation.
We are investing the time in training and information to support our volunteers and continue to seek feedback to further improve our reputation as an organisation that delivers an outstanding volunteer experience.
We look forward to hosting our volunteers at our annual Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show and having them return every year to join in the fun.
