We’re so proud of our Mudgeeraba competitors at the SEQ Sub Chamber Finals
The Mudgeeraba Show Society is incredibly proud of our local competitors who represented our Show so beautifully at the South East Queensland Sub Chamber Finals, held on Saturday the 10th of April at the Annette & Lionel Mundt Pavilion, Beenleigh Showgrounds.
These Finals bring together talented competitors from across the region, and it was wonderful to see Mudgeeraba so well represented across multiple competitions. Our competitors stepped up with confidence, skill and a great community spirit, and we couldn’t be prouder.
A big congratulations goes to Mia Bell, who achieved a fantastic result in the Next Gen ANZAC Biscuit Competition, placing Second against strong competition from across South East Queensland. Mia showed great determination and enthusiasm, and it was wonderful to see her efforts rewarded on the regional stage.
We are also absolutely thrilled for Chloe Bell, who was named Runner Up Showgirl for South East Queensland. Chloe represented Mudgeeraba with grace, confidence and genuine warmth throughout the competition. She is a wonderful ambassador for our Show and our community, and this result is so well deserved. We look forward to Chloe shining at our 2026 Show.
And we were delighted to see Richard Beare named as a South East Queensland Sub Chamber Finalist in the prestigious Dark Rich Fruit Cake Competition. Many in our community will remember Richard as the First Place winner at the 2025 Mudgeeraba Show, and it is fantastic to see him continuing to share his baking talents beyond our local Show.
We also love that Mia and Chloe are sisters, making this achievement even more special for their family and for our Show community. It’s a lovely reminder of how agricultural shows bring families together and create memories that last for generations.
On behalf of the Mudgeeraba Show Society, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mia, Chloe and Richard. You have represented Mudgeeraba with pride, and we are so proud of you all.
We look forward to cheering on our competitors, and all finalists, as they head toward the State Finals during Ekka week.
Well done to everyone involved.
