Community Safety Enhanced Thanks to City of Gold Coast Defibrillator Grant

The Mudgeeraba Show Society is proud to acknowledge and sincerely thank the City of Gold Coast for its generous support through the Community Grants Program, which has enabled the purchase of a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds.

As a City of Gold Coast owned and volunteer managed facility, the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds welcomes tens of thousands of visitors each year through agricultural events, community activities, sporting groups, private functions and local organisations. Having an AED readily available is an important investment in the safety and wellbeing of everyone who visits our grounds.

This funding has allowed us to further strengthen our emergency preparedness and provide volunteers, event organisers, hirers and patrons with greater peace of mind, knowing that life-saving equipment is available should it ever be needed.

The Mudgeeraba Show Society is incredibly grateful to the City of Gold Coast for recognising the importance of supporting community organisations through initiatives such as this. Grants like these help volunteer organisations continue to improve their facilities, build resilience and provide safe, welcoming spaces for our community to gather.

On behalf of our members, volunteers and the many community groups who call the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds home, thank you to the City of Gold Coast for your ongoing support and commitment to our community.

Together, we continue to build a safer and stronger community for everyone.
