Introducing our 2025 Show Ambassadors

  • Community, Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show, Mudgeeraba Show Ambassadors
  • May 18, 2025

Each year, we have the great pleasure of welcoming outstanding young individuals from our
local community into our Show Family as Show Ambassadors. This prestigious leadership
program is a proud tradition shared by agricultural shows across the country—and one we
are honoured to uphold here in Mudgeeraba.

We are continually inspired by the passion, dedication, and community spirit our
Ambassadors bring to the role. As we look ahead to the 2025 Mudgeeraba Agricultural
Show, we’re excited to see what this incredible group will achieve. Their commitment to
giving back is already evident, and we thank them in advance for the time, energy, and heart
they will contribute to our event.

Throughout the show weekend, you’ll see our Ambassadors lending a hand across every
corner of the grounds—from caring for animals and supporting volunteers, to greeting
visitors and hosting our Junior Ambassador competition. Their presence truly captures the
spirit of excellence and community that defines our Show.

Introducing the Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show’s 2025 Show Ambassadors—young leaders who represent the spirit, dedication, and community pride that define our Show.

Meet Brody Townshend, our 2025 Community Spirit Ambassador! At just 14, Brody is a dedicated high school student with a passion for learning, sports, and community
involvement. A keen cricketer and Scout, he’s actively involved in volunteering and community service, earning the Leos Member of the Year Award in 2024. Brody’s leadership,
work ethic, and positive attitude have already earned him the title of Junior Ambassador at the Mudgeeraba Show in 2021. With aspirations to pursue law, Brody’s ambition is to make
a positive impact and inspire others in his community.

Introducing Zahara Alexander, our 2025 Teen Woman of the Year Runner-Up! At 16, Zahara is a vibrant and community-minded high school student with a love for agriculture, animals, and giving back. As Junior President of the Mudgeeraba Pony Club, she’s a passionate equestrian who leads with integrity and heart. Zahara is an active volunteer—supporting children on the autism spectrum at Josiah College, serving on the Gold Coast Junior Council, and helping run local events at the Showgrounds. Whether riding her horses or representing rural youth, Zahara brings positivity, leadership, and a strong community spirit to everything she does. With future goals of becoming a vet or doctor, she’s on a mission to help others and make a meaningful difference.

Meet Isabella Vujanovic, our inspiring 2025 Teen Woman of the Year! A 16-year-old student at All Saints, Isabella moved from Hong Kong to Mudgeeraba in 2021, where she embraced
her new life on a 9-acre horse property. A passionate Netball player for APS, dancer, and writer, Isabella is also dedicated to community service, having volunteered with Girl Guides,
beach clean-ups, and local events, amassing over 30 hours of community service in just one semester. With dreams of pursuing international relations and learning Chinese fluently,
Isabella’s goal is to foster global connections and positively impact her community. A determined, hardworking young woman with an international outlook, Isabella is excited to serve and represent Mudgeeraba with pride.

Introducing Molly Bentley, our 2025 Rural Ambassador! At 19, Molly is an Enrolled Nursing student with a deep love for nature, animals, and the equestrian world. Having grown up in
the equestrian industry, she’s spent over 12 years honing her skills, recently expanding into coaching. Molly has been a dedicated volunteer at the Mudgeeraba Show since 2023, a
weekend she looks forward to every year. Alongside her nursing studies, Molly’s goal is to further her career with a specialized Masters in pediatrics while pursuing her passion for
show jumping. She’s passionate about giving back to her community and sharing the joy of the show with others.

Meet Megan Reid, our 2025 Young Woman of the Year!
Megan is a passionate community advocate, dedicated volunteer, and proud member of the Gilston/Advancetown Rural Fire Brigade. Megan is also a standout leader in emergency management, supporting Queensland communities through her work with TMR and the Queensland Fire Department. She led QFD’s first appearance at FarmFest 2024 and becoming known for her creative “cattle tag” initiative. Whether she’s on the frontlines of disaster response, organising local events, or learning more about the agricultural industry,
Megan brings leadership, passion, and heart to everything she does. Her goal is to support and strengthen rural Australia and inspire the next generation to do the same. She was recently named the 2025 South East Queensland Showgirl, and will be representing our local community as well as the whole South East Queensland at Ekka later this year in August.

Finally, thank you to Bethany McDonald, our 2023 Mudgeeraba Ag Show Young Woman of the Year, 2023 South East Queensland Showgirl and 2023 Queensland Country Life Showgirl State Finalist, who is now our Show Ambassador Chief Steward, Management Committee member and mentor to our young people. Your dedication is unwavering, and we are so grateful to have you lead our young people.
